18 June 2004 - Simple test scene for
trying out various Global Illumination renderers. As an
indication of how
far the
hardware and
software has come in the last few years, I rendered this
scene in Oct 2001 with the Brazil Public Alpha on a dual
PIII box 384mb RAM - 7hrs 41m. Today I rendered the same
scene with the latest Vray Public build on a dual AMD 2000
2GB RAM - 3min 7s |
